Episode 8: Veneto
A region full of art and romance, Veneto is best known as the land of Shakespeare but it also offers some breath-taking golf spots. George visits Verona GC and enjoys a personal tour of the course from President Sabina Betti. In the heart of the Verona, George takes in the sights including Juliet’s balcony, the Roman amphitheatre and Castelvecchio bridge. Heading east towards Vicenza, George plays the unique course of Colli Berici GC, which is situated high in the mountains 300m above sea level and presents a stern test for any golfer.
