The Winners' Bags - April 6, 2008
One of the big questions regarding Lorena Ochoa's signing of an equipment deal with Ping last year was the requirement she use a Ping putter in 2008,instead of the Odyssey Tri-Hot 2 she had been so successful with. But after watching Ochoa pour in putt after putt in winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship, all such concerns should be put to rest. Johnson Wagner, meanwhile, found Titleist's ZB forged blade irons -- which he switched to earlier this season -- to his liking in his first PGA Tour win at the Shell Houston Open. Mark Wiebe, however, won at Cap Cana on the Champions Tour with some older bats, including Cleveland's Launcher Comp driver -- a model that is three generations old.
