The Winners' Bags - March 16, 2008

March 16, 2008

Another week, another win for Tiger Woods who kept his equipment intact with one slight change. Woods dropped the loft on his driver from 8.5 to 7.5 degrees, perhaps to combat the windy conditions at Bay Hill. LPGA rookie Louise Friberg won the MasterCard event in Mexico with a bag full of Ping clubs -- not surprising since Friberg's father is a Ping distributor in Sweden and her older sister works for the company as Solheim Cup Coordinator. Denis Watson, meanwhile, made it two wins in two weeks for Guerin Rife putters on the Champions Tour.
