Web.com Tour player burns Steph Curry and Golden State Warriors with wedge stamp

    August 02, 2017

You can question Web.com Tour player Justin Lower's sanity. But there's no doubting his fandom.

A quick scan of Lower's social media accounts illustrate a man in love with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is pertinent as Lower is playing in this week's Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward, Calif, located in the heart of Golden State Warriors territory. Also germane to this account is one Steph Curry, who somewhat controversially is in the tournament's field.

So Lower decided to have some fun with this week's circus, using his Titleist wedge and bag as a billboard for his Cavs allegiance:

Kind of puts Jason Day's shoes to shame, doesn't it?

Listen, the "3-1" catcalls have become stale, especially given 1) Golden State curb-stomped Cleveland this past June and 2) Kyrie Irving's mutiny has put the club's future in doubt. Nevertheless, true fans stay with their squads through thick and thin.

Besides, let Lower have his fun. Considering the Browns just arrived to camp, the man needs a distraction.
