It wasn't quite the scene from the 1999 Phoenix Open in which a group of fans moved a boulder, but Tiger Woods needed another assist with an unusual "loose impediment" on Thursday at the Honda Classic. Hopefully, Tiger took advantage of being in that spot and grabbed a snack. The Bear Trap beckons.
Following a slight delay, Woods found the fringe with his approach shot and two-putted for par. He birdied the next hole to grab a share of the lead. Yes, it's (very) early, but people were obviously pretty excited:
popcorn pretzels and watch the show.
