Watch Tiger Woods make par from a pretzel stand

February 22, 2018

It wasn't quite the scene from the 1999 Phoenix Open in which a group of fans moved a boulder, but Tiger Woods needed another assist with an unusual "loose impediment" on Thursday at the Honda Classic. Woods' wayward drive on the PGA National's 12th hole wound up behind a soft pretzel stand. And he had help getting out of the, um, sticky situation. Check it out:

Hopefully, Tiger took advantage of being in that spot and grabbed a snack. The Bear Trap beckons.

Following a slight delay, Woods found the fringe with his approach shot and two-putted for par. He birdied the next hole to grab a share of the lead. Yes, it's (very) early, but people were obviously pretty excited:

Grab some popcorn pretzels and watch the show.
