The Valero Texas Open celebrates its 100th anniversary, and with that huge achievement comes a strong field at TPC San Antonio. Defending champ Jordan Spieth will tee off this week, as will 2021 Masters winner Hideki Matsuyama. Matsuyama is returning from a lingering back injury that forced him to withdraw from the Players Championship and skip the WGC-Dell Match Play. The Japanese star will be one of many using the stop in Texas to get in some final preparation ahead of next week's Masters. Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Rickie Fowler are also in this week’s Valero field.
