2022 Valero Texas Open tee times: Sunday's final-round pairings at TPC San Antonio

With the Masters on the horizon, the Valero Texas Open will be the last time for pros to prep for the year's first men's major; 20 players in this week's tournament are then off to Augusta National. A strong field at TPC San Antonio includes defending champ Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau for the 100th iteration of the Texas event.
The Valero is also the last chance for tour pros not in next week’s field at Augusta National to earn a trip to Georgia. The winner, if he's not already qualified for the Masters, will get the 11th hour invitation. The last time that happened was in 2019 when Corey Conners won his first PGA Tour title and then made his way to the Masters. Rickie Fowler will be looking for that type of longshot leap this week.
Hideki Matsuyama is also competing in Texas as he tries to get his game in shape to defend his 2021 Masters title. Matsuyama withdrew from the Players Championship earlier this month due to a back injury and skipped last week's WGC-Dell Match Play to get rested.
This week's winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.548 million share of the $8.6 million purse.
