Yesterday I posted an item about the massive Gaylord Entertainment golf resort/convention center planned for Mesa, Ariz. The issue went before Mesa voters Tuesday and they voted overwhelmingly in favor of the tax incentives sought by developers -- incentives that could be worth more than $85 million over 50 years.

So when are they going to break ground on this project, which includes a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, two hotels and 225,000 square feet of meeting space? "We have not locked down a schedule," the Arizona Republic quotes a senior Gaylord official as saying. "Right now there's too much uncertainty in the world."

Can't argue with that.
