Tom Heinsohn took a look at Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes in the shower, and he likes what he saw

When it comes to Boston sports legends, Tom Heinsohn is up there with the best of them. In addition to a playing and coaching career with the Celtics that featured 10 NBA titles, Heinsohn has become one of the voices of the team along with play-by-play man Mike Gorman. The duo has been announcing C's games since 1981, making them one of the longest-tenured teams in sports broadcasting history.

In a town with as critical of sports fans as Boston, it's nothing short of a miracle that Heinsohn has been calling games this long. His blatant homerism, sense of humor and "Tommy points," which he gives to players for hustling, have endeared him to the fanbase forever. And of course, he obviously knows his stuff. Take for example his preparation techniques, which feature a little pre-game shower research:

Take notes aspiring broadcasters, this is how you prepare. Every little detail matters, that includes shower stare downs of newly acquired Celtics center Aron Baynes. How else you going to get a true feel for the new guy? He's not wrong either. Have you ever gotten a good look at Baynes? Looks pretty.. uh... put together if you ask me.
