The Northern Trust's greatest style statement was this amazing Jena Sims tee

For a tournament that was pretty much over by 5pm on Saturday, the Northern Trust Open certainly served up its fair share of intrigue. You had Phil talking trash about Tiger WHILE HIS BALL WAS STILL IN THE AIR, Tiger being pressed on his feelings about DJT, and Cameron Smith showing up for some post-round chit-chat with a dog under his arm. By far the most entertaining thing at Ridgewood Country Club, however, was this human:

Before you ask, yes that's golf's most recent Meme of Fame inductee plastered on a t-shirt, and no, we have no idea how to get it, short of printing your own, which, if we had to guess, is exactly what John Belushi Jr. here did. It's unquestionably the style statement of the Northern Open—a tournament won by a 20-something man in a newsies cap—and we are Hulk-green with jealousy.

In case you've been living under a rock since Shinnecock, the shirt depicts Jena Sims—girlfriend of Brooks Koepka—giddily side-eyeing Tiger Woods following his final round 64 at the PGA Championship, later immortalized by Club Pro Guy. In a hilarious twist of fate, however, it was Jena herself who found and snapped the photo of this anonymous hero rocking her face on his chest on Sunday.

So maybe it's not this guy we should be congratulating, but Jena for having a sense of humor about this whole thing. Then again, it's a whole lot easier to laugh when you're going home with the guy who went home with the Wanamaker.
