Very rarely do outsiders get a peek inside the gates of Seminole Golf Club. Last year’s TaylorMade Skins Game presented this Donald Ross classic on TV for a first time. And this year’s Walker Cup heads to these hallowed grounds.
To explain why Seminole holds such esteem in the world of golf is to explore its history. The highest-ranked Ross course on Golf Digest’s latest ranking of America’s 100 Greatest courses has never fallen outside the top 20 in our venerable listing. Some of the game's best modern architects, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, recently completed a renovation of this classic. Ben Hogan prepared for the Masters each year at Seminole, and he called the par-4 sixth the best par 4 in the world. A who’s who of golf’s elite frequent Seminole—including former Walker Cup captains. We were fortunate enough to have Nathaniel Crosby, the current U.S. captain and son of Bing, guide us around Seminole in this exclusive drone tour.
This is a rare opportunity to study this masterpiece. We hope you enjoy.
