Saquon Barkley is coming off one of the greatest seasons in NFL history. Now he's focused on pulling of an all-time offseason as well.

The Philadelphia Eagles star broke the NFL record for most rushing yards in a season while leading his team to a Super Bowl title. But his next goal involves golf—and it might be even more challenging.

After breaking the 2,500-yard mark on the gridiron, Barkley tweeted on Tuesday that he wants to break 80 on the course before returning to training camp this summer. "If I don't break 80 this offseason... I gotta give up the game."

Considering Barkley said earlier this month that he's a 15-handicap, that's a pretty ambitious goal. (Assuming that's really his handicap and he's not a sandbagger like Pat Mahomes is apparently.) According to the National Golf Foundation, only about five percent of golfers ever break 80. So Saquon's got his work cut out for him.

That being said, 99.9 percent of those golfers aren't as good of an athlete as this future Hall-of-Famer. And just look at how quickly New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner got really good during last offseason.

And most people don't have access to golf tips from a two-time U.S. Open champ. Shortly after Saquon's tweet, Bryson DeChambeau extended an invite to Barkley to join him on his "Breaking 50" YouTube show. And Barkely responded about as quickly as he hits an open hole.

Indeed, he was a tad busy breaking records and winning a championship. Although, Saquon did manage to get a round in with Barack Obama during the season NBD.

Anyway, good luck to you on this latest quest, Saquon. And please let your fans at Golf Digest know if we can be of any help.
