Rocket Mortgage Classic 2021 odds: Is Bryson a lock for another victory?

Bryson DeChambeau's triumph at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2020, where he overcame a three-shot final-round deficit to win by three strokes over Matthew Wolff with a Sunday 65, secured a win in four straight seasons for DeChambeau. His new bomb-and-gouge type game plan was validated—and opened the floodgates for the U.S. Open victory a few months later.
In his return to Detroit Golf Club, DeChambeau has been pegged as a heavy favorite by oddsmakers over the rest of the field—which isn't too shabby, either. Eight of the top 30 players in the world will tee it up at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic, just two weeks before the Open Championship. And of course there's Wolff, who flashed at the U.S. Open and played in the same pairing as Jon Rahm on the final day. Wolff opened up at 33-1 at William Hill with his near miss last year, and he figures to be one of the most popular picks of the week.
