RBC Heritage odds 2023: Can a mentally-fatigued Jordan Spieth defend his title?

Jordan Spieth put together another great performance at Augusta National this weekend, posting his sixth career top-five finish at the Masters. But the three-time major winner couldn't help but wonder if playing too much golf of late was the reason he left a few out there, as he came up just short of winning a second green jacket.

The Masters was Spieth's eight start in 10 weeks, and there will be no time for rest. He has another quick turnaround at Harbour Town for the RBC Heritage, where he is the defending champion. There's some serious value on him at this elevated event, Spieth checking at 18-1 on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Then again, bettors might want to tread lightly given how mentally, emotionally and physically drained he is.

Jon Rahm, the Masters champ, is the co-favorite with Scottie Scheffler at +850. Rory McIlroy, who missed the cut at Augusta, is at 11-1, while Patrick Cantlay and Collin Morikawa are at 14-1 and 18-1, respectively.

Below are the odds for every player in the field at the 2023 RBC Heritage:
