Rory McIlroy will attempt to "defend" his RBC Canadian Open title—albeit from his victory in 2019—against a field featuring five of the world’s top players, chief among them No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. After two years of cancellations due to COVID-19, the event returns to hte PGA Tour schedule. St. George’s Golf Club in Toronto hosts the event, with a Canadian looking to win for the first time since 1954.

Other notable tour pros teeing it up this week include Justin Thomas, Cameron Smith, Tony Finau, Matt Fitzpatrick and Shane Lowry.

The winner will receive 500 points and a $1.566 million share of the $8.7 million purse.
