Phil Mickelson used a mask to make quite the flex

One of the overhanging questions for 2021 in golf is how Phil Mickelson's schedule will shake out. The five-time major champ played predominantly on the PGA Tour last year, but after turning 50 in June he teed it up in two senior events, winning both. Those poor geezers never knew what hit them.

The question could become tricky again around Phil's 51st birthday as his U.S. Open status remains up in the air. However, there is one major we know he'll play in for sure.

As a three-time Masters champ, Mickelson will get that April invite for life. And during Wednesday's pre-tournament presser for the American Express, he found a new way to remind everyone that he's won a few green jackets.

And here's the full quote: "Well I only wear masks from places I've won multiple events and that doesn't rule out AmEx, actually, here, so you might see me in one of those masks."

Well played, Phil. And that's a sharp-looking mask. Should be a best-seller in the Masters Patrons Shop this spring.
