PGA Championship 2025 tee times: Pairings for the first and second rounds at Quail Hollow

If you’re not satisfied with the storylines heading into the 2025 PGA Championship, then golf probably isn’t your thing. Entering the second men’s major championship of the year, there are so many plots and subplots to follow at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., we're afraid we might run out of energy just typing them.

There’s Rory McIlroy trying to follow up his Masters victory on a course where he’s won FOUR times in his career.

There’s Jordan Spieth trying to follow up Rory McIlroy and become the seventh golfer to win the career Grand Slam.

There’s Scottie Scheffler trying to follow up his dominant Byron Nelson win and put to rest any doubts that he’s still deserving of his World No. 1 ranking.

There’s Bryson DeChambeau trying to follow up his string of impressive major performances as he nearly single-handedly carries the banner for LIV Golf.

Have we left out anybody? Oh, how about defending champion Xander Schauffele looking solid as he aims to keep possession of the Wanamaker Trophy. Or Justin Thomas, who claimed the first of his two PGA Championship titles at Quail Hollow in 2017 and is fresh off a win at Hilton Head.

Seriously, this is an embarrassment of riches that we all can just hope will play out with a crammed leaderboard and leading up to Sunday fireworks.
