PGA Championship 2019: Our favorite prop bets for the PGA, including a Tiger-Knicks crossover wager

    May 14, 2019

In terms of recent success, Tiger Woods may be right about L.A. sports being better than New York. While the Lakers stink, the Dodgers and the Rams were each just in their sports respective championships last year. And let's not forget about the Kings, who won a pair of Stanley Cups not too long ago.

But this week, New York has the potential to be the center of the sports universe. Yes, there is the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black on Long Island. More importantly though, at least for New Yorkers, is Tuesday's NBA Draft lottery, which the New York Knicks have a 14-percent chance to win. If they do, they'll almost certainly take Zion Williamson, unless the franchise wants riots to take place outside of Madison Square Garden on the night of the draft.

What do the Knicks and Tiger have to do with one another? Well, the combo could team up to make New Yorkers not only very happy this week, but also extremely rich. Our friends over at PointsBet came up with what's easily our favorite PGA Championship/New York Knicks crossover bet for this week, and one you'll obviously need to get in before the lottery takes place tonight (no peer pressure). The wager: Tiger Woods to win the PGA Championship AND the Knicks to win the NBA Draft lottery at +10000 odds. Pipe dream? Sure, but it's worth a small taste if you're feeling lucky.

There are plenty more prop bets to wet your beak with, including ones you might actually have a chance to win. Here are the rest of our favorites from various online sportsbooks (both legal and illegal).
