Masters 2025: This graphic showing the number of private jets coming and going from Augusta in one day is absolutely insane

The Masters attracts a certain clientele on a regular basis. Sure, you can scoop a pimento cheese sandwich for $1.50, but this is an event heavily attended by America’s rich. You’ll believe us if you get a glimpse of Augusta’s private jet scene at Augusta Regional Airport (formerly Bush Field).

According to an X post from podcaster Joe Pompliano, Tuesday saw 225 private jets arriving and departing Augusta. Over the next five days, there are more than 1,000 arrivals predicted. To see that data on this chart kind of puts it all in perspective.

How about the plane from South Korea, making the 14-hour trek to Augusta National to watch the action? If we had the means, that would be the way to make the flight from Asia to Augusta, Ga. palatable!

Most of the other flights have been domestic — and most of those short flights, with the exception of some from Los Angeles and San Francisco. There are a few from Canada, even one from Calgary. The countries below us are seemingly interested in the golf, too, with one jet coming from the Dominican Republic.

We know many are panicked about the economy and the stock market, but clearly not the private jet crowd. You have to use those hours once you’ve purchased them. And once you’ve secured tickets to Berckman’s Place or Map and Flag, what better way to arrive than on a private jet? Must be nice…
