Masters 2025: 'Stop hatin on the LIV sh-t' - Legendary rapper takes shot at Masters over lack of Bryson coverage

Weezy F Baby and then F is for ... Fanboying out over Bryson DeChambeau?
Legendary rapper Lil Wayne chimed in on the second-round Masters coverage on Friday afternoon, claiming there was a serious lack of it involving the two-time U.S. Open winner, who went five under over the first eight holes on Friday at Augusta National.
"They gotta stop hatin on the LIV sh-t," wrote Wayne, AKA Birdman Jr. AKA President Carter.
To Wayne's point, this man was killing it out there, making birdies at No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 (!) and No. 8, which at the time pulled him within one of Justin Rose's lead. At the time this was tweeted, live coverage was still nearly two hours away.
As for featured groups coverage on Masters.com, DeChambeau was nowhere to be found. The two morning groups featured the first-round leader Rose and his Day 1 partners J.J. Spaun and Max Homa. Group 2 was the supergroup of Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg and Akshay Bhatia.
The thing is, the technology-savvy folks out there could have picked up DeChambeau's round on the 4th, 5th, 6th hole feed, where they would have seen an incredible bunker hole-out birdie and an even more impressive birdie at the fifth, where he put his 160-yard approach to eight feet and made the putt. After the par-3 sixth, though, fans at couldn't get eyes on DeChambeau again until the 11th tee box on the Amen Corner feed. A tough scene, indeed.
Of course, you could also simply watch all of DeChambeau's shots after the fact on Masters.com, though they are not live. And just as a counter-point, Masters Thursday featured groups had two LIV golfers in them - Joaquin Niemann and Jon Rahm.
The good news for Tunechi - who is also a Tom Watson superfan - is that Bryson will very likely be in one of the final few groups on Saturday, where he should get PLENTY of coverage, ideally. Don't change that dial just yet, Weezy.
