Maybe the Internet is good? That might be a bit of hyperbole, but in this one specific instance, we have nothing but positive things to say about the World Wide Web. This glimmer of hope came from Reddit no less.

It all started a few months back when Separate-Anteater831 posted about taking his daughter to the golf course. “I’m terrible at this sport,” he wrote. “But the fact that my daughter asks to come with me at 5 years old to play a full round, makes it my favorite.”

The comments are overwhelmingly positive, especially the most liked one, “It’s the best, isn’t it? I drop everything and bring mine every time they ask about it. Don’t want to play, but want to drive the cart? Sure. Just want to putt? Of course. Just here for the Powerade and uncrustable? You got it.”

Man, a Powerade and Uncrustable? That’s a good day on the course, no matter your score.

Anyway, it looks like the LPGA got wind of the original post and proceeded to send “Girl Dad" apparel to both the father and daughter. A “cool as hell” move from the tour and much appreciated by the giftees and everyone else online.

A few other dads even posted how excited they are when their daughters golf with them, including one named Solintari dropping a Hall-of-Fame photo.

“Here is my princess peach throwing darts. This is genuinely my favorite thing to do as a dad or anything really.”

Another added a photo of their kid with the caption, “Good to see I'm not the only one letting my daughter go out in whatever she wants. It's princess dresses, pajamas, cowboy boots. If she wants to go she can wear whatever she wants!”

This is what Reddit should be for, posting about how fun it is to take your daughters to the course. Hopefully, the LPGA checks out everyone who's trying to get free swag, like Reddit user Dame2Miami: “I also has daughter. She wears a men’s L. Also a men’s 13.5 if you wanna send some shoes. Thank you in advance, LPGA!”
