Through a golf-themed T-shirt design, Linksoul is running a campaign to give humanitarian aid to those affected by the violence in Ukraine. The brand released a T-shirt design in which 100 percent of proceeds will go to a non-profit organization, Sunflower of Peace, that provides first-aid backpacks and supplies for paramedics and doctors in Ukraine. In addition to the shirt campaign, the brand is also accepting direct donations for Sunflower of Peace.

Announced last week, Linksoul set a goal of raising $10,000 through shirt sales and donations. At the time of this story, the campaign has raised $40,345, according to the Linksoul website.

The shirt comes in white or blue and features the brand’s “Make Par Not War” slogan in a sunflower-like design surrounding the image of a golfer. The phrase, often seen on Linksoul’s T-shirt and hat collections, was a collaborative idea between co-founders Geoff Cunningham and John Ashworth that came from conversations about the ramifications of war just after 9/11.

“It was never meant to be a witty catchphrase,” Cunningham said in a release. “For us, it represents how we choose to live and move through this life.”

This isn't the first charity shirt from the brand. Linksoul raised more than $90,000 for COVID relief in 2020 with a golf-themed shirt Cunningham designed to encourage flattening the curve on projection charts.
