Korn Ferry Tour pro makes "worst bogey" of season—and it had nothing to do with how he played

As any traveler knows, forgetting to pack something for a trip can be a frustrating experience. Even worse? Forgetting to pack something for the return home.

Such was the case for Timothy Kelly, AKA Tee-K, who realized he left his golf shirts hanging in his hotel room after missing the cut at last week's Huntsville Championship. For a PGA Tour star with a full-fledged clothing deal, this wouldn't be a big deal. That player would probably have an entire new wardrobe shipped to him by the end of the day. But for a 27-year-old Korn Ferry Tour rookie, there was only one choice: drive back.

Fortunately for Kelly, he was only an hour-and-a-half away so it wasn't too bad of a drive. Still, that certainly added to the week's gas budget. And he called it the "worst bogey I've made all season."

Been there, done that, Tee-K. Well, maybe not with an entire week's worth of golf shirts, but who hasn't left something behind in a hotel room? Let's just say people who work at hotels must be swimming in iPhone chargers.

Most importantly, this story wound up with a happy ending.

That's a lot of shirts to leave behind! And we wouldn't want to lose that collection, either. Those are some beauts.

Anyway, good luck the rest of the season, Tee-K. And maybe don't close your hotel closet next time.
