Fashion-forward sports apparel company J.Lindeberg has teamed up with Ecco to create a series of golf shoes that push the boundaries of traditional golf apparel. Although the partnership may seem unlikely, the two brands share Scandinavian roots: JL was founded in Stockholm, Sweden and Ecco was born in Bredebro, Denmark. The first of four launches dropped today–a futuristic silhouette with Ecco’s high quality performance technology—selling out almost instantly on the J.Lindeberg and Ecco websites. The following three shoes are set to drop within the next few weeks and are expected to sell out just as quickly as the first. Here's a look at the first golf shoe release of the J.Lindeberg X Ecco collaboration, we'll keep you updated on any restocks.

The first shoe of the collaboration is J.Lindeberg’s take on Ecco’s previously-released M Golf Biom C4 model. The trendy brand, worn by Viktor Hovland and Nelly Korda, added modern touches to the shoe, such as a diagonal zipped sectional that conceals the model’s lacing system. A half black, half white upper makes for a neutral yet sophisticated look. The outsole is built on Ecco’s gripping technology to ensure traction and rotational support throughout the swing. The shoe also utilizes Ecco’s performance leather for durability and Fluidform cushioning for added comfort.

Those who are able to get their hands on any of the exclusive shoes over the next few weeks should hang onto the shoebox—it can be unfolded and used as a putting aid, a fun element that emphasizes the collaboration’s attention to detail.

Although this drop only comes in men’s sizing, future releases will include new versions of Ecco models for both men and women. While supplies last, the limited edition collections will be available for purchase on both Ecco and J.Lindeberg’s websites.
