Duuuuuuuval

The real MVP of Jags-Bills was this Naval Officer screaming "YEEAHHHHHH" on the FOX postgame show

November 08, 2021

In one of the sloppiest NFL Sundays in recent memory, by far the sloppiest affair was the 9-6 tilt between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills. The Jaguars, we guess, were credited with their second victory of the year, though neither team deserved to win this ugly field-goal fest.

We should give some credit to Josh Allen, though, and not the Bills' Josh Allen. Jacksonville defensive end Josh Allen had himself a day, making the other Josh Allen miserable by picking him off, sacking him once and recovering one of his fumbles. He was easily the game's MVP.

The real MVP, however, did not suit up in a Jags uniform but rather a Naval uniform. Ahead of Veteran's Day this Thursday, the FOX pregame crew did their live show from the Naval academy, and they found a Jaguars fan amidst the crowd of Naval officers who was holding up a sign that read "Jags Josh Allen > Bills Josh Allen." The moment actually occurred during the live postgame show, after the Jags had squeaked out the upset victory. Curt Menefee called upon the man with the sign, and he was understandably fired the hell up:

As good as Jags fans' "DUUUUUVAL" chant is, Luke Schreiber's "YEEEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" may have to replace it, at least for the rest of this season. In case you didn't notice, this team is 2-2 since Urban Meyer was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. YEEEEAAAHHHHHHHH.

If the Jags are smart, they'll get our man Luke here in the front row of every upcoming home game for the remainder of the season, and at the very least have this clip blast on the Jumbotron after every first down. We're guessing Luke would co-sign to either of those things:

YEEEEAHHHHHH you are, Luke.
