It's true, two Cleveland Indians fans were arrested during the Wild Card game. Wait, what?

Just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any weirder, two Cleveland Indians fans were arrested at Progressive Field during Game 2 of the AL Wild Card series. Wait, what?

It's true. Despite the fact that no fans are being allowed inside MLB stadiums right now, a pair of Cleveland men were seen being handcuffed and walked out of the stadium by police during the ESPN broadcast. Here's the clip:

As you can see, the moment was captured completely out of the blue by ESPN cameras. On multiple occasions, ESPN cameras showed the guy banging on the drum outside of the stadium, which he was doing all night (what an absolute maniac). It just so happened that during one of the times they were showing him, this double arrest was occurring. How is this even posssible?

Well, according to the Indians, the two men hopped the gate at Progressive Field in the hopes of taking in the playoff action in person. They were promptly caught, arrested and escorted out of the stadium. A for effort, though. Unfortunately, their already rough night was made worse when the Indians squandered a 9-8 lead in the top of the ninth, eventually losing 10-9. Hopefully, these two can see the Tribe in person again some day.
