Looks like Lightning winger Pat Maroon had a pretty good time during the Stanley Cup boat parade
Last year, Pat Maroon won his first Stanley Cup, and he did it in St. Louis, where he was born. It was also the first Stanley Cup in Blues franchise history. It really didn't get much better than that for the 32-year-old left winger.
Somehow it did, as Maroon signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning during the offseason on a one-year, $900,000 deal. You may have heard the Lightning won the Cup, exorcising some serious playoff demons. It's the franchise's second Stanley Cup victory, the first since the 2003-2004 season.
That makes it two in a row for Maroon, who became just the third player in NHL history during the expansion era to win consecutive Cups on different teams. You'd think he'd be a little partied out after last year's epic Blues parade, but you'd be sorely mistaken. It appears as though Maroon is going even harder than last time, so hard that he may or may not have ... um.....
This is an awful and overused phrase but it has to be used here - Pat Maroon is living his best life. Slugging beers and going to the bathroom wherever he wants. Anyone who has ever been drinking on a boat before knows exactly what happened here. What a savage. Florida has been good to this man:
