For loyal readers of our weekly PGA Tour prize money payout posts, you know our curiosity behind player earnings on tour knows no ends. However, if there’s a week of the year in which paydays actually falls down on the priority list, it’s this one here at the Wyndham Championship. As the last regular-season event on the schedule, players aren’t so much concerned about picking pick up an extra grand or two coming down the stretch on Sunday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Instead, they’re thinking about grabbing an extra dozen FedEx Cup points in order to creep just a little higher on the standings.

Getting inside the top 125 is the primary aim, something a trio of golfers accomplished—Roger Sloan, Chesson Hadley and Scott Piercy. Sloan, meanwhile, nearly won the tournament, getting into a six-man playoff at 15 under before falling on the second-playoff hole.

Of course, making a little money is a nice bonus, too. The overall purse at the Wyndham was $6.4 million with the eventual winner, Kevin Kisner, taking home $1.152 million. Here’s the breakdown for the prize money payout for each golfer in the event.
