If there’s any tournament on the PGA Tour calendar where the prize money payout takes a back seat, it’s the Wyndham Championship. Being the last regular-season event on the schedule, players aren’t so much concerned about picking pick up an extra grand or two coming down the stretch on Sunday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Instead, they’re thinking about grabbing an extra dozen FedEx Cup points in order to creep just a little higher on the standings.

Getting inside the top 125 in order to be eligible for the FedEx Cup Playoffs was the primary aim—something accomplished by the eventual winner, Jim Herman, whose closing 63 gave him the title, which jumped him from No. 192 on the points list to 54th.

Of course, making a little money is a nice bonus, too. The overall purse at the Wyndham was $6.4 million with Herman taking home $1.152 million for his third career tour win. Here’s the breakdown for the prize money payout for each golfer in the event. We’ll update the list shortly after the tournament with individual players names and how much they earned.
