Giannis Antetokounmpo drops 40, then drops absolutely horrendous dad joke in postgame presser

Despite averaging 29.9 points per game, 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is a distant 9-1 to win the NBA's Most Valuable Player Award, well behind the two favorites Nikola Jokic (-125) and Joel Embiid (-105), per the DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Greek Freak does, however, already have a much different MVP Award locked up for 2022 - MVP of dad-joke telling, a very real award we didn't just completely make up now.

After dropping 40 points on the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday night to pull a half-game within first place in the East, Giannis proceeded to drop an offensively bad dad joke during his postgame press conference. How do we know it's a dad joke? Not sure, but something seems to be giving it away in this clip:

Ahhh, makes much more sense now. Tough crowd on that one, though...

Other than owning the unfortunate souls who have to guard him every night, the dad joke has become Antetokounmpo's calling card in 2022. "Ground beef" now joins such gems as "Why did the orange lose the race?"

And who could forget "What do you call a fake noodle?"

And everyone's favorite "When the cows go out, where do they go?"

Two cow-related dad jokes in the same year is two too much, but we'll let it slide. Further proof that if you are really, really, ridiculously good at basketball and/or another professional sport, you can get away with pretty much anything.
