Giannis Antetokounmpo orders 50-piece after dropping 50-piece, might be the GOAT
Giannis Antetokounmpo was already a lovable figure before this NBA Finals run, but this last week or so has seen his star power reach new heights. His Chick-Fil-A order on Wednesday morning only furthers that notion.
Not long after dropping a 50-piece on the Phoenix Suns to close out Game 6, the Greek Freak ordered a 50-piece at his local Chick-Fil-A. And not just any 50-piece, 50 of the Chick-Fil-A minis, which are the Chick-Fil-A nuggets in sandwich form, the nuggets "resting inside a warm yeast roll lightly brushed with honey butter spread," per Chick-Fil-A's website. Folks, this is carbo-loading the likes of which we've never seen.
Pay close attention to the way Giannis orders, as he makes it clear he wants 50, not 49 or 51, Chick-Fil-A minis. Also, that drink order is ELITE:
How can you not love this guy? How about him politely asking if she wants to be on camera first, then slipping in that 150,000 people are watching her. By the way, she seems to have no clue who he is, which makes the whole thing even more perfect.
By the way, the drink order needs to be discussed, honored, and possibly enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame. No ice, half sprite, half lemonade. If that's not a new drink on every fast food menu by tomorrow, preferably named "The Giannis" then WTF are we doing here?
