G/FORE is a golf brand known for making a splash. The bold brand entered the golf industry in 2011, launching 13 golf gloves in new and unexpected colors. In the years since, G/FORE has become a go-to destination for golfers looking to express themselves and add personality to their look on the golf course. The core glove collection has always been a mainstay, but it’s the recent growth in the G/FORE shoe collection that has taken the brand to new heights. The newest golf shoe model from G/FORE, the G.112, feels like an ode to the brand’s beginnings of giving golfers expanded access to color. Available in 18 colorways for men, six for women and four unisex options, there’s no doubt a look to align with or enhance any on-course look.

The G/FORE G.112 golf shoe—pronounced G-one-one-two—is a low profile shoe with a seamless synthetic upper and a tech-y tagline printed at the heel. It reads “G/FORE Golf Ops Tour Tested Turf Rated” referring to the single rubber outsole fully covered with traction nubs for steady footing and stability. The nubs extend beyond the outsole to the heel and exterior side of the forefoot, adding both style and stability.

A responsive EVA midsole provides a noticeable rebound during the transfer of weight and is layered under antimicrobial cushion inserts to keep things fresh. As a bonus, the inserts are machine washable to extend the freshness and longevity of the shoe.

If you are familiar with G/FORE shoes, the G.112 fit similarly to the popular Gallivanter shoe with a narrower silhouette, so if you are between sizes, the brand recommends sizing up.

On the men’s side, there are 12 solid colorways to choose from, including five shades of blue ranging from sky blue to navy, green, orange, purple, pink, red, black and two more muted shades of gray and off-white

G/FORE’s G.112 men’s golf shoe line also includes two white golf shoes with hits of color at the lateral wrapped traction pattern and heel along with a navy, light gray, off-white and black option—each with a simple white midsole.

The women’s version of the shoe has all the same design and technology features, with the addition of a removable kiltie. The preppy lace cover has been gaining in popularity in golf and fashion in recent years, serving as a fun and retro juxtaposition to the modern G.112 design. The women’s shoe comes in black, pink, yellow, stone with neon green details, white with light blue, white with navy.

For the boldest colorways of the collection, the unisex sized shoes—sans-kiltie—include a solid yellow, neon pink, seaglass blueish-green and blush option.

Since the launch coincides with the U.S. Open in G/FORE’s hometown of Los Angeles, the brand has painted the city to celebrate the G.112 golf shoe with billboards, ad-wrapped transit buses, a takeover of the popular restaurant and celebrity hotspot, Craig's, and a retail tent at The Los Angeles Country Club.
