Move over TaylorMade, Fireball Whisky to release ‘Fireball Five Iron’ just in time for Father’s Day

Golf equipment innovation never sleeps. 3D printed irons. Rose gold designer drivers. Bigger sweet spots. Longer distances. More spin. You name it, it’s been done (to death, if the impending rollback regulations are any indication). But we guarantee you have never, EVER seen anything like the Fireball Five Iron.

Yes, that Fireball.

Just in time for Father’s Day, the infamous cinnamon whiskey brand is entering the equipment game with a groundbreaking 5-iron featuring five 50ml Fireball shooters strapped to the shaft. Don’t expect the Fireball Five Iron to replace dad’s Ping Blueprints—Fireball says it isn’t designed to be a playable club— but it will make for a stealthy way to import your own booze onto the course and also ease the pain of every inevitable bogey.

“We know our fans already enjoy celebrating — or mourning — their performance on the green with a birdie shot, but it can be hard to get our sweet cinnamon delight onto the course. With the Fire Iron, golfers everywhere can play with fire and come out on top — regardless of what your scorecard says,” says Fireball Global Brand director Danny Suich of the intoxicating iron.

The Fireball Five Iron goes on sale Friday, June 7th at 10 a.m. ET and will retail for $24.99. In a world of $650 drivers, that seems like a fair price to us, especially considering the club can be reloaded with Fireball shooters once its initial supply has been emptied. Quantities will be very limited, however, so make sure to head over to Fireball’s website bright and early for your best shot at, well, shots.
