It’s hard to keep track of the golf brand collaborations that come out week to week, but this partnership between Devereux and Michelob Ultra distinguishes itself from the rest with a meaningful message. Devereux is a golf clothing brand that aims to elevate some of the stale fashion standards in the golf world, while paying homage to a New York City staple: the bodega. These small grocery stores are popular in urban areas like New York City and are a go-to stop for essentials. Perhaps because of the beer cooler typically found in these corner stores, Devereux and Michelob took inspiration from bodega style in developing their own golf staples of apparel and accessories.

This collection weaves both subtle and not-so-subtle nods to bodega culture throughout its streetwear-influenced pieces. A metallic blue varsity jacket, with “Golf Bodega” and a printed golf bag displayed on its back, is one of the standout items of the collection. A Michelob Ultra themed driver cover is another intriguing option. The beer company’s slogan “It’s only worth it if you enjoy it” is embroidered on one side.

Rope hats, sweatshirts, polos, and a sold out bag-towel make up the remainder of the line, all featuring New York motifs, Michelob detailing, and Devereux’s signature skull logo. The aim is for this capsule to serve as a reminder to support local businesses and remember where you came from—two initiatives that align with Devereux's mission to make the game more inclusive through its nontraditional golf apparel and accessories.

The collection is available for purchase on,, and in store at Hypegolf’s New York City Clubhouse, where the collaboration launched.
