There's an even more ridiculous angle of the ridiculous catch by the ridiculously-good Ceedee Lamb

November 23, 2020

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen made one of the best catches of the entire NFL season on Sunday. A one-handed snag in the back-right corner of the end zone that he pressed against his right shoulder pad and controlled all the way to the ground. Oh, and he was held on the play. It was pure insanity:

Sick, right? Catch of the day, possibly the year in the NFL. Actually, it wasn't even close to the best catch of the day. Hell, it wasn't even close to the best catch of that game. That belonged to Dallas Cowboys rookie wideout Ceedee Lamb, who made this ridiculous diving catch look easy:

If that angle wasn't mesmerizing enough, the Cowboys tweeted out an even more jaw-dropping angle from behind the endzone:

The adjustment, the body control, the catch itself, all of it is absolutely bananaland. Big shoutout to Andy Dalton, who could not have placed that ball any worse, which made the whole thing possible. I think that's a compliment.
