AT&T Byron Nelson odds 2022: It has to be Willy Z time in Texas, right?

With the second major of the season looming, next week's PGA Championship, nobody wants to peak too soon at the AT&T Byron Nelson. However, there is one elite player who wouldn't mind it, because it would remove a rather large monkey off his back.

Will Zalatoris, who was born in California but grew up and still lives in Texas, will be in this week's field at TPC Craig Ranch, where he tied for 17th last season. The 25-year-old is still in search of his first PGA Tour win, having come extremely close earlier this season at the Farmers Insurance Open, where he finished in solo second.

Zalatoris isn't quite as familiar with TPC Craig Ranch as he is many other Texas courses, but that doesn't make him any less of an attractive bet at 25-1, which is the highest odds on him in the outright betting market. At a handful of other sportsbooks, he can be found anywhere between 14-1 and 20-1.

The favorite, not surprisingly, is Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, who is as low as 7-1. Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth check in right behind him, while Brooks Koepka is all the way down at 40-1, his most recent start a missed cut at the Masters.
