BMW Championship odds 2023: Can Patrick Cantlay pull off the three-peat?

In retrospect, simply forcing a playoff on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude Championship was a rather impressive feat from Patrick Cantlay. One bad swing on the first playoff hole, ultimately leading to his defeat, shouldn't spoil the good vibes from a final-round six-under 64.
Cantlay carries that momentum into the BMW Championship, a tournament he's won each of the last two years, albeit at two different venues in Caves Valley and Wilmington Country Club. This week, he goes for the BMW three-peat at Olympia Fields' North Course just outside Chicago, which last hosted in 2020 when Jon Rahm outlasted Dustin Johnson in a playoff. Cantlay is 10-1 at the FanDuel Sportsbook, the fourth favorite behind the likes of Rahm (9-1), Scottie Scheffler (+650) and Rory McIlroy (+650).
Lucas Glover, who is going for a three-peat of his own, is 33-1. Viktor Hovland (16-1), Max Homa (25-1) and Jordan Spieth (28-1) will all be looking to get back into contention as well in this week's 50-man field.
