Volleybrawl

Is this the best volleyball point of all time? Yes, yes it is

As someone who plays in a beach volleyball league, volleyball is extremely difficult.

Between the nonstop hand-eye coordination, ability to move fast in the sand and constant chatter so you don’t decapitate someone while diving, there’s nothing more impressive than a prolonged volleyball point chockful of determination and grit.

What follows is one of those Hall of Fame points in which there are no losers, only winners (and winners that just so happen to lose). It’s really good. Here we go …

Wasn’t that ridiculous?

Yes, we sometimes hyperbolize on here, but that’s a damn good point between Ecuador and the United States. There were multiple volleys that came down to pure will and an innate desire to keep the ball in the air.

You can teach a lot when it comes to volleyball, but you can’t teach a desire to win.

Also, if you’re one of the four players in this point, please join our intramural volleyball team out in Brooklyn. We’re not very good, but we try our best. Sometimes we get drinks after too.
