Arizona Pick-Me-Up
Hats off to the Arizona Republic and its occasional feature, "The Valley's Priciest Home Sales." It never fails to remind us how some people, at least, are spending a lot of money on golf course homes these days.
In the latest installment, viewable here, you've got a guy paying $2.85 million in cash for a new home on the Firerock Golf Club in Fountain Hills, a couple of different people who paid $2 million and up for homes on the Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley, someone who paid $2.35 million for one at the Estancia Club (pictured) in Scottsdale, and a guy who paid $2.15 million for a place at the Boulders.
