PGA Championship 2024: Alejandro Tosti drives green on now-reachable 13th, fans drooling to see what Bryson will do

Just when you thought the drama of a stacked Sunday leaderboard at one of the wildest major championships in golf history couldn’t get any better, it has. For the final round at Valhalla, the PGA of America has rolled out a new wrinkle, making the signature par-4 13th hole drivable for some of the longest (and bravest) players in the field.

On Sunday morning, golf fans got a preview of the potential fireworks when Argentinian tour pro Alejandro Tosti uncorked this monster tee shot, sticking it to six feet for a great look at eagle.

We’re all thinking the same thing. What will Bryson do? DeChambeau chipped in for eagle on the 18th hole on Saturday to close the gap on leaders Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa to just two strokes. As one of the longest players in the game, with a few ridiculous carries already on his CV, DeChambeau will have a very real shot to reach the now-349-yard 13th on Sunday. Getcha popcorn ready, golf fans.

As for Tosti, he sunk his eagle putt, bringing him to a three-under for his final round and helping him bounce back from a brutal eight-over performance on Saturday.
