Prairie Band, a Native American casino in Topeka, Kans., is building an 18-hole golf course, the Associated Press is reporting.  Native American PGA Tour member Notah Begay III is the co-designer, along with Jeff Brauer. It'll be Begay's first design. Brauer is architect of the highly regarded Giants Ridge Golf Club in Minnesota, among others.

The AP says Prairie Band's course will be called the Firekeeper and will be open by next summer.
