This Seamus Costco-inspired golf headcover was a PGA Show hit

Perhaps my favorite trend in the soft goods side of the golf industry in recent years is the rise of custom and handmade golf headcovers. Any time I see a cool one I get an itch to add another one on the bag. So on site at the 2024 PGA Show, a quick pit stop at Seamus Golf's booth was top of the agenda.

On its website ahead of the event, Seamus itself had intriguingly invited attendees to "stop by and take a gander at what we're working on and some of the recent projects that will come forth in 2024." One of those projects was a wholesale-inspired driver headcover. White, with the Seamus brand appearing in punchy red font down the middle of the barrel headcover.

The design is an obvious nod to the Costco logo, the wholesaler which has developed a cult following in the golf space amid its recent launches of new clubs, including a driver and iron set which sold out in hours.

The company sold a limited number of them on the floor at a price of $88, which sold out quickly. It's unclear when, or if, Seamus will launch the wholesale line on its website.

I managed to snag one from the show: Here's how it looks next to a Seamus headcover from its previously-released "golf on the moon" collection.

Take a closer look, and keep your eyes peeled for it in the coming months.
