We’re back! On Thursday, the PGA Tour returns after a three-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth will host quite an eager—and loaded—field for the Charles Schwab Challenge, the longest-running tour event to be held on the same course.

Not only are the top five golfers in the FedEx Cup standings playing this week, but 16 of the top 20-ranked players are looking to take home the first title after the tour’s restart. World No. 1 Rory McIlroy is making his Colonial debut and will be joined by top-tier talents like Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Webb Simpson. The lone players in the top 20 not participating this week are Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Tommy Fleetwood, and Patrick Cantlay. In turn, the tournament will have the strongest field of any tour event since the first FedEx Cup Playoffs event in 2019.

Defending champion Kevin Na will be looking for his second win of the 2019-’20 season, after his victory at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open last fall. Other recent Colonial winners such as Justin Rose, Kevin Kisner and Jordan Spieth will be teeing off as well.

The winner of this event will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.35 million share of the $7.5 million purse.
