100 GREATEST/BEST IN STATE SCORES
1 / 7
“Pretty solid track. The finishing 3 holes are routed through lava beds; nice solid finishing holes."
2 / 7
“Anytime a course has a par five that requires you to hit a 7 iron off the tee, it is going to the bottom of my list. Conditions are good, has a few good holes."
3 / 7
“Good course with nice scenery."
4 / 7
“The lava holes on this course are straight off the islands. A lot of fun to play, and usually always in very good condition."
5 / 7
“The course plays through some intriguing landforms including lava form by a fissure in the earth. The course is visually arresting but architecturally could be more interesting."
6 / 7
“Excellent southern Utah course with unique finishing stretch through a lava field. Has suffered recently from declining conditioning."
7 / 7
“Always in good condition in the spring, firm, fast and well conditioned. Views of Snow Canyon and the red rock country are great. The closing holes are carved out of the black lava and present a great contrast in color, and a tough result is you hit a wayward shot."
