“Great course. Ross design that was in fantastic shape. Fun but very challenging."

“Great Donald Ross course in a golf-rich town. The course can be incredibly difficult when the winds are up."

“Course is in great shape but the layout is architecturally very bland. Feels like you're just going back-and-forth down tree lined fairways. They claim to be a Donald Ross course, but the Donald Ross society does not recognize it as such because "renovations" over the years have taken almost all of the Ross qualities out of it. Hopefully in the future someone can restore it to it's former glory because it's a great piece of property."

“Fun course that features a few holes along the Tennessee River. A lot of undulations in the fairways that make some of the second shots very demanding."

“Variety is excellent here with all the different green complexes and challenges along the way. A burn comes into play on some holes and then you play 4 holes along the riverside. I don't know if I've played a course that had a par-3 finisher for both nines and I thought both were fun holes. Side hills and up and down movement come into play. I know a storm wiped out a huge amount of trees a couple years back and I have to believe the course was improved for it. There are still some tight tree lined fairways here which could benefit from some thinning? From my trip to Chattanooga this was the course I found myself thinking the most about after the trip."
