Review

“The new Tiger Woods layout in Missouri is highlighted by sprawling fairways, large bunkers and a variety of different holes. The 19th hole is an experience, but is not pure golf and the trip back to the clubhouse after playing the hole is arduous. The holes have very similar feeling to BlueJack national with the bunkering features and layout design. The course is very fun and gives you a large landing area on most holes. There are plenty of risk reward opportunities where the player is not severely penalized for a bad shot. Overall, this is a good public golf experience."

“Payne's Valley feels more like a (very slow) theme park ride than a golf round. The amenities (including the 19th hole), service, and ride up and down from the clubhouse are all top-notch. If there's a problem, it is that all those "extras" are more impressive than the course itself. I really enjoyed the day, but once was enough. I'd go back for Ozarks National though."

“The course looks easy at first glance because of the wide fairways and minimal rough. It is actually a difficult test due to the greens complexes. It’s hard to hold the greens and most have false fronts or side slopes that make it tough to get close on pitches. Many greens are huge with large undulations."
