“This is what can be done on a reclaimed coal mine when counties and industry work together politically. Stonecrest is a nice design in eastern Kentucky. Actually, Stonecrest is the best course in this part of Kentucky. The bent grass fairways and greens are exceptional in the spring and a true delight to play on. In the summer, they can become a little bare and conditions can be difficult to maintain. The design itself is adequate in length and variety of holes. It is amazing to play a course that is relatively flat in this part of Kentucky known for its mountains. Go and play it and enjoy the incredible scenery."
