I thought it might be an over the top with alignment with all those angles and lines and colors and everything. But, actually, it was pretty cool. Moved really well with the ball. It was just a little bit more inconsistent than others.
It gave me a very consistent roll. There's a lot going on with it, but it was consistent on mis-hits.
Longer putts felt consistent, and it felt really balanced through the ball, and it got the ball rolling quick and easy. The sound was this muted, odd clink. It wasn't satisfying. But the roll was reliable.
It really helps with alignment. It has some heft to it, so it's easy to get the ball to the hole. The sound has a hollow-like pitch to it.
I like this putter more than I thought I would when I first picked it up. There's a lot going on with its appearance, but when you get dialed into it and see how the alignment works, it performs very well.
A little distracting with all that's going on, but it felt very firm, rock solid going into the ball. You felt that energy transfer into the golf ball in a controllable manner. It felt very easy to square, very easy to balance.
The markings and alignment are pretty elaborate on it, but it does help you focus on the alignment. I do like the descending loft insert. It makes you feel like if you mis-hit the ball low or high, it will still roll pretty true. That makes up for some of the other stuff with the putter that might not be as conventional.
The main thing to call out was how soft it was, but it still had a really good, clicking noise to it. It rolled nicely off the face, on both short and long putts with a tight dispersion. The alignment aid on the top, even though a little bit bigger than I normally look for, was helpful to put the ball on line.
I thought it was an easy putter to swing even though it was a little heavier. A lot of pop off the face, but it's just pure distraction. There's five colors and materials used in the top. And there's a lot going on from different, textures and colors. It's a very busy putter, and I found that to be distracting.
This is a good club for a couple of reasons. One is the alignment assistance of the design itself was elaborate enough and helpful enough that my control was excellent on it. The weight and size was also very helpful for me with ball striking, which helped with my distance control.
First thing I noticed was the sound. It has a higher-pitched sound than most putters. It doesn't feel like the face is hot at all. Doesn't have that pop, but still consistent in terms of distance control, speed control, making dispersion minimal.
With all of the stuff you're looking at, you'd have thought this putter would be a lot heavier but it's light. Because of that I couldn't get a good feel for it and my dispersion was off.
I like the results and the dispersion was very good—almost off the charts consistent. I believe the bright white alignment lines were a great aid in that I never had to try to line the putter up. Everything worked together. The stability of the counterbalancing helped with the speed.
I love the the copper look. The face with the shallow milling produces a soft response, and it feels great on every putt. The whole face is kind of a sweet spot.
This thing screams tech. There's very clear alignment aids so it's very easy to frame behind the ball. But it was almost feeling a little airy through impact. Firm, but inconsistent distance control.
It's on the heavy end of putters. The contact feels substantial and dense, but I just don't know if it's going to go the right distance or not.
There's so much mass in the head that you don't have to do much and you can create plenty of energy. The roll is so good that just when you think the ball is going to stop you get an extra revolution or two. Hideous to look at, though.
The whole face is basically a sweet spot. It's super loud and easy to tell if you're hitting it right or wrong. Just good feedback.
The alignment is almost too much. It's visually jarring. The ball comes off the face with a consistent roll that makes it very easy to control distance. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not trying this putter.
A futuristic, cutting-edge design. A precision-like strike sending the ball on its way. This one seemed to excel in the middle-range putts more so than the short stuff or the really long ones.
It's unforgivably ugly. Looks like, something out of a transformer cartoon. The club has a plasticky feel and sound, and I struggled with accuracy. Club tended to misfire to the right for me.
Because of its shape, it felt very heel balanced, and I felt like it was always rocking a little bit. I had to stand a little bit closer to get it to feel comfortable to me. I really had to push lag putts to get there. It just didn't seem like it it had a lot of pop on longer putts.
Overall, the putter has good weight. You don't have to do too much. I would love for them to quiet it down a little bit.
The back of it looks like an airplane tail, which I felt was not distracting and added stability. I like a more compact mallet and this has that shape.
There was a nice heft during the stroke that naturally dissipated as it got progressively closer to the ball. So I wasn't accelerating. It just allowed me to take a natural pendulum swing with my body without the club forcing me in any kind of direction.
The 3D printing is the first thing that sticks out. It's very cool. It almost looks like a cobweb under the top of the putter. But the gold with the black is a nice contrast. It makes it easy to set up and line up correctly. Really feels like you can hit it all over the face too. Nothing's really affected, so it's forgiving and doesn't set up too closed. It sets up just right. It's not too loud. It's not too soft. It it's right in the middle, and that's what you look for in a solid putter.
Inconsistent sound and feel. Felt soft at times, then there were times it was a little firmer. Same thing with the sound, a little louder at times. So very inconsistent, which made it difficult to trust how hard you wanted to hit the putt, and then that shows up in dispersion as well.
I chose the more compact head in the lineup. It's great size for me for a mallet. I'd say it's more of a mid-sized mallet. Love the thick, bold trim lines right through the middle of the putter. It has the descending loft face, which helps with off-center hits, creates a good solid strike throughout the putter face on the heel and toe strikes.
This putter was very tough to putt with. It almost felt like the head was plastic. That made it difficult to figure out how it was going to come off the face. I just felt like everything was either pushed or pulled. It was hard to keep the club face square.
A very soundly-constructed and conceived putter. It has a look of a tennis shoe with two stripes instead of three. The aesthetic is bold and distracting, which doesn't really add up to a great putting experience. Solid in many respects, but just didn't enjoy looking at it.
This thing is fire. The distance control was great and I really like the counterbalance feel. Setup with confidence and it performed its tail off. Easy to aim and get a center strike. Mis-hit one low and it still had the right distance.
