Why We Like It
- Co-forged tungsten and ceramic weighting reduces mass in areas where it is not needed and moves it to where it is needed such as the perimeter.
- Six-times forged from 1025 carbon steel for a pleasing sound and feel.
- The universal hosel design allows for .355 taper tipped and .370 parallel tip shafts to be used, providing the kind of options better players want.
- Radiused sole and leading-edge relief makes this iron feel like it’s on skis through the turf.
- Progressive sole design from long irons to short irons enable workability and control.
- Easily blended with the more forgiving XC3 model for a mixed set.
- SPECS: 7-iron: 30.5 degrees; PW: 43 degrees

It absolutely achieved right mix of soft and feel. good balance. And it moves through the ground cleanly. I also got higher-than-average ball flight and can work the ball with these. Good dispersion, too.

I love the simplicity. Looks classy. The slight offset, especially with the pitching wedge, made me a little uncomfortable, so I didn't hit it great. But I could see the value in it.

I definitely get a lot of feedback on off-center hits, both sound and feel. You can definitely tell if you mis-hit it. The amazing thing is the performance doesn't suffer too much on off-center hits. Getting good distance. It's a pretty robust head, so the ball goes. It has a little under the hood, it seems. If you're looking for results, this is a decent choice.

It has a very simple look with good framing of the ball. The feel was good in the center but firmer with a ringing feel in the hands on off-center hits. I could work the club and it moved through the turf just fine, producing a nice, mid ball flight.

I liked that there were more scoring grooves. I'm a fan of the idea of it. Gets more spin but the distance was there, too. I saw a very consistent higher ball flight and I like when it gets up in the air quicker. Mis-hits still had nice accuracy and I liked the sound.

Just a really forgiving club that is easy on the eyes at address. The groove pattern seems intriguing with more of them. The weight of the club is well balanced and the turf interaction is very clean. I got a nice high flight that didn't balloon. There is a bigger dispersion in distance with these because center, flushed shots fly extra far.

I love the shape of head. It's not too big. I like that the glare is removed off the top with the matte finish. And I'm not seeing the cavity at address, which is nice. This club cuts through the turf with the weighted head and the ball feels soft but jumps off the face. It's pretty responsive, too.

Best feeling iron I've hit in a while. The ball jumps right off the face. The clubhead rips through the turf and never gets stuck. Easiest club I've hit in a while, too. They look so simple so you don't expect much, but they perform extremely well.

The ball stays on face a little longer. I like the look. Very clean. The design style is not going to get you second looks, but everyone is going to give it a shot. There's some tech here with screws and weights.

It really has the looks of a game-improvement iron in terms of thickness of the top edge and the way it sits at address. That being said, it's shaped nicely. You can really feel the ball being compressed off the face. This launches like a rocket—it just keeps going and going. My concern is actually that it's too hot.

It's an average looker but felt pretty good and sounded pretty good. Performance wise, this thing is a beast. It was very easy to hit the ball very straight. But you can can curve it either way, too. Mis-hits still landed within the target area.

The long irons were easy to hit with a consistent, good feel, but the shorter irons didn't provide me that same thing. I like the soft, curved lines of the cavity. Still, it was tough to find a pleasing feel, even on good hits. Just too firm for my taste and the wedge shots were not consistent and diggy.

Alan

It's a softer feel but it was long. Chunks, thins, toes, heels. It doesn't matter where you hit it on the face, the bonus distance stayed. It gave me kind of a piercing flight with low spin. It came off the face with some speed.

BK

The ball jumps off the face, even the ones I kinda missed a little bit. I got a medium-to-high flight, and I was bit surprised at the height because it didn't balloon. I like the thickness and topline, but for some reason, the wedge and 7-iron looked a touch off. It's a personal thing. The 5-iron look promotes confidence, amplified by the shots that come off of it.

The hollow-body construction and a thinner, more flexible cupface (in which the face wraps around part of the sole and topline) on the 3- through 5-iron provide more ball speed and a higher launch to enhance distance.
The remaining irons have a 1025 forged-carbon-steel face insert designed for precision, accuracy and repeatability in the clubs where distance isn’t as crucial.
The company’s urethane microspheres within the body of the long irons control vibration, enhance feel and allow the face to flex for maximum distance.

A hollow-body construction with a forged, high-strength steel face insert produces plenty of distance sizzle.
The face insert wraps around the leading edge into the sole for more potential ball speed from impacts lower on the face.
Tungsten within the head (as much as 41 grams) lowers the center of gravity for more effective launch.

The single-piece forged cavity-back is more compact than the P·770.
Cavities in the sole are milled out, allowing for tungsten (up to 11 grams) and a slug of lightweight metal-matrix composite to be inserted to lower the center of gravity.
The metal-matrix composite is one-fifth the density of the surrounding steel. This allows for more perimeter weighting and ultimately forgiveness.

The T150 is hotter than the T100 thanks to its stronger lofts (2 degrees) and a channel behind the face that adds spring at impact.
The muscle channel is close to the face to provide a solid feel.
Dense D18 tungsten uses an aerospace brazing process that eliminates weld joints. This allows a more precise center of gravity and extra stability on off-center strikes.
