Why We Like It
The problem with looking for a fairway wood to serve as your alternative driver is compromising its playability off the ground. This fairway wood doesn’t stray too far from its mission as a backup club for those shorter, tighter driving holes. The heel design gives me the look that there's help back there, and that's reinforced by the insert that runs down the center. On good hits it's clear I have some beef behind the ball instead of that hollow sound a lot of clubs have.

Nice clean head—not too big or small. When you hit this in the center, the ball is jumping off the face and screaming down the fairway. Good off the tee and in the fairway. The way it sits makes it really easy to play from the fairway. The leading edge is flush with the turf. Requires little manipulation.
